Step by Step to open online saving account in Canara bank
Open Canara Bank website https://canarabank.com/english/
Search for option online SB a/c opening under Apply Online menu on the left part of the canara bank website homepage.
Now enter your mobile number and then type the below Captche and click on Login
Now select your State from the state list where your residing and then select your nearest Canara bank Branch accompanied by it and then , Click on Proceed.

Now you will be directed to a screen like this( see screenshot) now choose your type of Saving account you wish to open. For further details about the types of saving account, just click the Details option below the saving account type.
Now After choosing the type of saving account. Now you have to fill Personal Details about you.
Details Narration of entries:
Title: Select your title that you use before your name such as Mr, or Ms, etc.
First Name: Just write your first name
Middle Name: Just write your middle name (if any)
Last Name: Just write your Last name or Surname.
Gender: now select your gender either male or female
Date of Birth: now select your date of birth
nationality: now select nationality as Indian
Aadhaar number: Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number in this column
PAN number: Enter your 10 digit alphanumeric PAN number
Form 60: This as yes if you don’t have PAN card and send it know if you have mentioned your pan card number before this column
Email id: Just write your email ID
Father name: just write your father name in this column
Mother name: just write your mother name in this column
Maiden name: if you are a lady and you are married then write the name which was yours before the marriage
Spouse name: if you are married then write the name of your partner
residential status: Select this as resident Indian if you are living in India mobile number: just enter your mobile number
Address: just write the address where you are residing
State: Select you straight from the dropdown state list
district: just write the name of the city you are leaving
pincode: write the area pin code of your place where you are residing
address type for permanent address: Now select the type of address you are giving whether it is residential address or business address.
Now click on check box option if the mailing address same as permanent address
Customer type: Now choose the type of customer you are whether individual or trust or company from the dropdown menu based
Education: select your education
Gross annual income: now select your yearly Income
Profession: Select your profession or your work such as whether you a student or salary or professional or Businessman just select your profession from the dropdown menu
Category just select your category
Caste: Just select your category
Marital status: Just select your marital status whether married or single
Identity proof ID: Just select your identity proof that you want to submit from the dropdown list along with the ID number
Address proof: Just select your address proof that you want to submit from the dropdown list along with the address number
customer photo: if you are submitted your Aadhar card number then your photo would automatically start showing in this portion
Select all the options stating debit card, net banking, SMS alerts, mobile banking, personalised cheque book and e-pass sheet.
do you want to register nominee: if you want to nominate a person on your behalf to receive the money from the bank after your death then you can select this option as yes you need to provide some information regarding the nominee
full name: just write the name of the nominee
relationship just write the relationship you have with the nominee
printed name of Passbook: select this option
mobile number: just write mobile number of the nominee
date of birth: Just write date of birth of the nominee
Select nominee mailing address same as customer mailing address
CLICK Submit Button on the top right Corner. Just verify your details once again to see everything you mentioned is correct. Confirm that you want to finally submit the online form.
Congratulations, you have finally filled and applied for online Canara Bank savings account. You need to write down this Ref Number it will be used by the Branch to open your online account for printout of the submitted form for signature and verification. Later you need to visit the nearest branch of Canara Bank within 7 days where you opted in this online form. You need to bring the original KYC document along with Zerox copies of it and a passport size photograph that cemented in this form along with the minimum amount need to open the account along with one passport size photograph.
