The acronymn “NEFT” stands for National Electronic funds transfer. This is a funds transfer system where transactions of smaller value are transferred from one bank to another. As per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, NEFT services are now available 27×7, effective from December 16, 2019 . Earlier, NEFT transactions were settled in batches defined by RBI. There is no minimum or maximum ceiling fixed for NEFT transactions. Transactions settled by NEFT are processed slowly than RTGS.

One can transfer from Rs 1 to maximum Rs 10 lakh through NEFT funds transfer of ICICI bank. ICICI bank neft form is available at all branches across India.
