Deposit slip or pay in slip is a small paper form which is devised to deposit money in ones account. This slip is usually used by those customers who does not have access to the ATM card or green card.

What are the two parts of the deposit slip of Union Bank of India
There are two part of a deposit slip one is the customer copy which is at the extreme left and the bank copy which is at the extreme right of the deposit form. The customer need to fill both bank & Customer Copy, the bank retains the bank copy and returns the customer copy as receipt to the customer after doing signature and putting bank seal on the customer copy.

How to fill the entries of the deposit slip of Union Bank of India
Bank Copy
Date: Just write the date on which you are filling the deposit slip to deposit money in your account.
Branch: Just write the name of the SBI branch where you are depositing your money
Type of Account: Just tick the type of account you are having whether Saving Bank/cumulative account No. For depositing in saving bank account tick on saving bank a/c
A/C No( in the boxes).: Just write your Saving or Current account number as stated in your pass book ( Note, please do check your account number twice before submitting the slip to the cashier).
For the Credit of: Just write your account name, the name by which you operate your account.
Drawn on Bank: Leave this coloumn Blank. If you are deposting cheque in your account then write the name of bank of which cheque is drawn
Branch: Leave this coloumn Blank. If you are deposting cheque in your account then write the name of bank branch of which cheque is drawn
Cheque No: Again leave this coloumn blank if you are depositing cash in your account. If you are deposting cheque in your account then write the cheque number in this coloumn
Cash Notes
Denomination: In this coloumn just the write the number of pieces of your currency whether it is in denomination of Rs 2000 note or Rs 500 note or Rs 100 note Just write number of pieces that make your sum of money that you are depositing.
Amount : In the total box below the table write the total amount you are depositing.
Rs in words: Just write the amount in words that you are depositing in your account
PAN No. : Just write the PAN Card number on this coloumn but you will have to give PAN Card number only when you are depositing obove 50000( Fifty Thousand) in your account.
Deposited by (Signature): Just put your signature in this coloumn
Cashier: Leave this Blank
Scroll: Leave this Blank
Office: Leave this Blank

Date: Just write the date on which you are filling the deposit slip to deposit money in your account.

Rs in words: Just write the amount in words that you are depositing in your account
