What is Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) is an online system of funds transfer under which the funds can be transferred from one bank account to another bank account on real time basis or immediately. Under RTGS, one can transfer from a amount starting from Rs 2 lakh to an unlimited amount. The bank charges a nominal fees as commission for this service. This facility works on all working days except on sundays and on public holiday. To transfer in another account, one needs to possess a bank account with the Indian Overseas Bank and with sufficient funds in the account. Only Some Banks accepts to transfer under RTGS for Cash rest all other banks transfer funds only when you possess saving or current account with that bank. How to fill Indian Overseas Bank RTGS Form ( iob rtgs form )

There are basically two ways of transferring funds under RTGS one is the online mode, for which one needs to have access to internet banking or mobile banking and the other is offline way, where one needs to visit a Indian overseas bank fill up a form RTGS form and make the transfer. DETAILS OF APPLICANT(REMITTER)

Amount to be Remitted Rs. : Write the amount that you wish to transfer in the beneficiary account.
Charges/Commission Rs. : Write the charges levied by the bank in the transfer of the amount
Services Tax Rs. Write the service tax if levied by the bank on the transferring amount
Total Amount to be debited Rs. Write the total amount that is inclusive of the transferring amount and the charges levied by the bank for the transfer
Type of Account : Remitter needs to choose the type of account either either Saving account (SB) or Current account (CA) that he maintains with the bank
Account No.(1 5 digit)_ Write the bank account number from  which the money is to be debited and credited in the beneficiary account number____
Cheque Number___Write the cheque number you have submitted to the bank to let the bank debit money from your bank and transfer in the beneficary bank account______
Cheque Date : Write the date mentioned in the cheque
Remitter’s Name : Remitter needs to write his name
Address :  The Remitter needs to write his residential address
Mobile No. : The Remitter needs to write his mobile number
E-Mail ID:  Write the email ID

Bank: Write the Bank Name of the Beneficiary

Branch : Write the home branch name of the beneficiary bank

Type of Account: Choose the type of account either Saving (SB) or Current (CA)
