What is Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) is an online system of funds transfer under which the funds can be transferred from one bank account to another bank account on real time basis or immediately. Under RTGS, one can transfer from a amount starting from Rs 2 lakh to an unlimited amount. The bank charges a nominal fees as commission for this service. This facility works on all working days except on sundays and on public holiday. To transfer in another account, one needs to possess a bank account with the Indian Overseas Bank and with sufficient funds in the account. Only Some Banks accepts to transfer under RTGS for Cash rest all other banks transfer funds only when you possess saving or current account with that bank. If one is opting for account debit for funds transfer under RTGS then in that case he must submit a cheque with the total amount that is inclusive of the transferring amount and the commission levied on the transferring amount.Download Indian Overseas Bank RTGS Form pdf
