What is NEFT and RTGS Service ??
NEFT and RTGS is a online service under which the funds are transferred from one bank account to another. Both NEFT and RTGS are considered to be reliable, convenient and safe way for transferring funds from one bank to another. Under NEFT one can transfer a sum below 2 Lakh and in RTGS one can transfer a sum starting from 2 Lakh and obove. Both NEFT and RTGS works on all days except on Sundays and public holiday. Bank charges a nominal fee for transferring amount from one bank account to another. There are basically two ways to for transferring the funds through NEFT/RTGS one is online which involves login into the personal internet banking and transferring the amount. The second method is a offline method where one has too visit the dedicated bank and fill up a form and present it before the cashier and thus remittance is made. The remitter has to draw a self cheque with the amount he is transferring and the bank charges. Some bank allows remittance in cash but not all banks allows it.
